Volunteering would suit you too!

Why do 1000 people come back to us from year to year to raise smiles on the faces of seriously ill children? And why are we sure that volunteering would be good for you too?

You will be stronger

Being a volunteer is not always easy – especially at the beginning.

You must be full of a fears, just as when you meet people in need, or someone in difficult situations, or when you face some environmental damage.

Surely the question arises in you: how am I going to cope with this emotionally?

And yet you will surely cope with it as you will focus on the main goal instead of the difficulties.

There are few other things that give you so much strength than to help others: since being a volunteer, you help our campers to be able to deal with a challenging situation, to be able to recover, and to feel that they are just as valuable as anyone else.

And all this happens thanks to you.

In the meantime, you will not only grow emotionally, but you will also gain new skills and competencies thanks to the new experiences and life situations that you can use in all areas of your life.

Team work

Volunteering is a real teamwork.

You can work together with people you might not have had a chance to meet anywhere else.

You may have completely different personalities, work at different places, or be interested in different things, but there is one thing you certainly have in common: you are fighting for a common mission, so you will be true buddies for sure.

The flow

You don’t even realize how fast time is flying, as you are completely indulged in the task just ahead of you.

At the end of the day, you will feel that the chaotic thoughts clear up in your head, and you will see your life from a completely new perspective.

“Wondering if a wing strike of a butterfly in Brazil could cause a tornado in Texas?”

You can accomplish amazing things with your volunteer work: you can change the world. Don’t you believe?

Yet by changing someone’s life, you will be a part of it. By devoting your time to these kids, you are caring for them and for their well-being, and it reinforces in them that they are worth fighting for.

Isn’t it fantastic?
